If you are learning to play tennis, dance, sing, paint – do you become great by simply watching videos, reading books, or listening to podcasts? The fastest way to mastery is by working with a coach or mentor, practicing, building on your skills and being evaluated. This is Level Up but for your life, mental performance and daily execution — and Dr. Jason Selk and Dr. Ellen Reed will be there every step of the way.

Knowledge (like watching videos, reading books, listening to podcasts) creates NO change without IMPLEMENTATION and REPETITION to drive MASTERY.
The science is quite simple, there’s no secret. The chemistry and biology of the human body is well-known. To create a self-perpetuating positive success cycle, your brain must release neurotransmitters referred to as DOSE: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Seratonin, and Endorphins.
But you may be feeling unsatisfied because your brain more often produces cortisol which places you in constant fight or flight mode leading to stress, anxiety, and maybe even depression.
Level Up goes beyond the traditional online course — it is a mobile app that teaches you through videos, hands-on practice and action-driven repetition to perform better each and every day. Your self-confidence will increase, you will have more success, AND you will be more happy and healthy. This science-backed 3-minute 40-second daily template for living takes time and effort to get started — about 10 minutes a day for the first 6-8 weeks. Then you will continue to use the app to sustain the positive habits and learn new tools and behaviors to be more happy and healthy.
You can’t ever binge on Level Up — you learn and master each technique one at a time. We believe the abundance of information causes cognitive overload in other methods of learning, and so we don’t dump everything all at once. Level Up is unlike anything else out there because the golden rule of our method is minimal time and effort with maximum impact.
Minimal Time and Effort with Maximum Impact
We will never overcoach. Each day, you will learn one nugget via video that’s on average 3-5 minutes. You’ll then immediately practice that one learning in the app. The next time you train (we recommend 3-5 times a week), you’ll learn another nugget (on most days), practice the new tool and incorporate that into the building blocks of the 3-minute 40-second daily routine. And perhaps most important, this minimal daily effort will influence and drive success for your entire day.
Like the final phase of L.I.F.E., you must EXECUTE every day. As legendary coach John Wooden said it best, “Nothing will work unless you do.” And while your success, health and happiness are the highest priority, realistically whatever program you incorporate into your life likely will not be given the amount of time commensurate with its importance.
Whether that is how it should be or not, that’s reality and expecting you to spend hours a week reading, listening, meditating, visualizing, breathing, etc. simply is not realistic. Life is BUSY. And if there is one principle that lives above all else in Dr. Selk’s coaching, it’s to NEVER OVERCOACH based on the principle of channel capacity (covered in the program).
So while Level Up isn’t structured to require hours of work each week, we do expect that in the first 2-3 months you spend 5-10 minutes in the Level Up app almost every day — ideally 5x a week (7 is not necessarily better) and never less than 3x. You’ll never spend more than that per day, as eager as you may be, you will be limited to working on one chunk each 24-hour session. After you’ve learned the 3-minute 40-second daily ritual, most days you may only spend that much time in the app — and only every few days you may be shown a new lesson or a deeper dive into your progress evaluation.
So start your journey today and commit to a better life — if the word that creeps into your mind is later, LATER in most cases means NEVER. If life feels more empty than it should and you are HUNGRY, what do you have to lose? Use Level Up 5-10 minutes a day for two weeks ENTIRELY FREE and walk away if you don’t feel an IMMEDIATE positive impact not just for the 4 minutes but your entire day.
The first 15 or so lessons teach you simple techniques. Momentum is key and keeping learning simple will drive belief and commitment early. We will use that momentum to then dive into the existential topics that will drive your day-to-day decisions – you will map out your purpose and life you really want to live years from now. We will teach you how to do this and give you examples. Ultimately, if you feel your life may not be going anywhere, perhaps it’s because you haven’t mapped out where you want to go?
If Level Up does not have a noticeable impact within the first 2 weeks (100% free), simply walk away – and keep searching because you deserve it. But if you are like everyone that has had a reason to visit this page and try the app, we are 100% sure that Level Up will be the best investment in your life.
Once you’ve learned the basic daily template over 6-8 weeks (depends on your pace), you will be evaluated regularly through data analysis and eventually via live coaching with ways to continually improve. Lesson content will continue for months and years to come to keep reinforcing brain science and teach new tools for performing in different life situations. Your self-confidence will soar – the single biggest variable to human performance.
If you can cut all sugar, eat a strict diet without ever cheating, work out twice a day for 45 minutes each, drink a gallon of water, build dozens of good habits by reading and whatever else you are challenged to do, keep going. Our top motivation is to help others, so if what you are doing is working great, don’t stop. But if you are like the vast majority who struggle with self-discipline, good habits, positivity, accountability and self-confidence, give Level Up a try for 2 weeks entirely free.
